Abstract/Contents:Presents a study conducted to evaluate "treatments...in a fourth year perennial ryegrass field for control of CF [crane fly]." States that treatments used in the study were Baythroid® XL and Lorsban 4E. Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "a RCB [randomized complete block] design with plots measuring 10 x 15 ft [feet] and replicated 3 times was used." Reports that "Lorsban significantly reduced CF larvae compared to the Baythroid treatments. The low and high rates of the pyrethroid, Baythroid, were not statistically different from one another."
