| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to determine "product effectiveness to control a mixed white grub population." Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "immediately after application the experimental area was irrigated in with 0.3 inch of water. General soil conditions were as follows: soil textural class, silt loam; soil particle size analysis: sand, 19.3%; silt, 66.2%; clay, 14.5%; soil percent water content (percent by wt [weight]), 19.5; organic matter, 3.4%; CEC [cation exchange capacity], 8.6; and soil pH, 6.4." Reports that "all treatments provided significant suppression of NMC [northern masked chafer] and JB [Japanese beetle] grubs. No phytotoxicity was noted." |
