| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "determine product effectiveness to control a NMC [northern masked chafer] white grub population." Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "the turfgrass area consisted of Kentucky bluegrass...Immediately after application the experimental area was irrigated in with 0.1 inch of water followed by 0.1 inch rainfall." Lists S10947, S10753, S10718, and S11066, and an untreated check as the treatments used in the study. States that "the area selected for the experiment had been infested with a natural population of NMC during the fall of 2002 with an avg [average] of 24.6 third instar grubs/ft2 [square feet]." Reports that "all treatments provided significant suppression of NMC grubs. No phytotoxicity was noted." |
