| Abstract/Contents: | "The relationships between growth dynamics and growth indices (LAI, NAR, CGR) in alfalfa and three grass species were studied in pot and field experiments. A positive correlation was found to exist between lead area development (LAI) and dry matter growth. The GCR values were especially dependent on nitrogen fertilization and stand density. NAR values did not give any clues regarding productivity." |
