Suggests that one should "buy the hardware [one uses] on a regular basis, and rent the equipment [one uses] sporadically." States that "the most common mistake...landscape contractors make is to buy too much equipment." Suggests "having a policy of using rental equipment for its intended job and then returning it the moment [one doesn't] need it anymore." Suggests that one look at the price of equipment as well as the flexibility of the dealer giving an example of "if inclement weather prenvents [one] from using a piece of equipment [one has] rented for the day, a flexible dealer will understand and may charge [one] a reduced or no fee." |
