Abstract/Contents:Briefly discusses a study conducted to evaluate possible cultural methods for their effectiveness in controlling thatch development in creeping bentgrass golf greens. Lists practices evaluated in the study, including topdressing, core cultivation, vertical mowing, grooming, and Thatch X biodegradation product. Reports that "a combination of core aeration + vertical mowing and core aeration + grooming + vertical mowing reduced organic matter 23 percent and 31 percent, respectively."
