| Abstract/Contents: | "A study was initiated May 27, 1987 to evaluate several rates of two chemicals, Pursuit and Telar, for the control of tall fescue in Kentucky bluegrass turf. Pursuit (Imazethopyr) 2 ASU was applied at three rates and with 45 day repeats of those rates. A surfactant was added at 0.25% to each treatment. Telar (chlorsulfuron) 75 DF was applied at two rates individually, two 45 day repeats and one treatment 90 day repeat. All treatments were applied to 6x12 ft. plots in three replications. Repeat treatments were applied July 10 (45 days) and August 24 (90 days). Injury to both the tall fescue and Kentucky bluegrass was evaluated on June 26, 1987." Treatments were visually evaluated (1-9 scale) for injury to tall fescue and Kentucky bluegrass. |
