Abstract/Contents: | Presents a shade study "established in the fall of 2004...including Kentucky bluegrasses, perennial ryes, fine fescues and rough bluegrasses (Poa trivialis)." Explains that "the area receives 2 lb [pounds] nitrogen/year and is mown at 3 inches. It receives no irrigation or pesticide applications." Reports that "so far, the rough bluegrass and some of the Kentucky bluegrasses have been outperforming the fine fescues and the other species." |
