| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the "problem of nutrient absorption by plants." Discusses the chemical elements required in plant nutrition, including calcium, magnesium, potassium nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, molybdenum, boron, iron, copper, manganese, and Zinc. Also discusses plant respiration and concludes that "most greenkeepers do a pretty good job of fertilizing" and that there has not been "too much trouble with the grass getting the chemical elements." |
