| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the potential importance of adequate drainage, stating that "without adequate drainage, it is impossible to maintain putting greens satisfactorily, particularly under the abusive conditions such as trampling, scuffing, mowing and rolling, to which most of [the] greens are subjected in all kinds of weather." Discusses experience with brown patch disease, and reports that sulphate of ammonia in solution was the solution the problem. |
