Abstract/Contents:Profiles the buffalograss chinch bug, highlighting a research program developed to "better understand the biology and ecology of this important turfgrass pest, and identify effective, sustainable and environmentally responsible management approaches." Details a series of experiments conducted on the chinch bug, concluding that "the information gained from this research indicates that B. occiduus [chinch bug] has an extensive host range, and has the potential to damage many turfgrasses and crops...grown in Nebraska."
