Abstract/Contents:Discusses the sod industry and its potential relation to water conservation. Suggests best management practices (BMP) or a rigid-regulation approach as potentially effective water-usage plans. Conlcudes that the "sod industry should develop and implement site-specific BMPs and take a leadership role within each state to foster a BMPs-based approach at the level of the state and water district."
