Abstract/Contents:Suggests that "a first impression is a powerful force. The impression that is made on customers - both first timers as well as current members - is one that can influence sales and performance on the course." Offers potential methods of planning landscape for a golf course, including to start with goals, decide on an overall theme for the course, keep the plants in scale with the course, conduct a site analysis, design a bubble diagram depicting groupings of plants, decide on the right plant for the right place, and evaluate the overall design.
