Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the use of "single or split pre-emergence herbicide application programs for crabgrass control in turf." Suggests that "post-emergence control" may be necessary when rain isn't sufficient to allow the "turf to continue to compete with annual grassy weeds." States that the application of herbicides to fine fescues "may result in noticeable injury," and that the application of herbicides in August can potentially worsen the effects of "hot weather and drought stress." |
