| Abstract/Contents: | "In vitro, Sclerotinia homoeocarpa, Corticium fuciforme, Fusarium nivale, Rhizoctonia solani, Marasmius oreades, Curvularia sp., Helminthosporium sp., Ceratobasidium sp., and Typhula sp. were sensitive to 3-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-N-(1-methylethyl)-2,4-dioxo-1- imidazolidinecarboxamide (RP 26019) with Ed50 of < 10 μg active ingredient/ml potato-dextrose agar. In field tests, RP 26019 provided excellent control (80-100%) of Sclerotinia dollar spot and Fusarium patch, and moderate control (50-70%) of Helminthosporium leaf spot-crown rot and Fusarium blight. RP 26019 was completely ineffective against pythium blight in the field." |
