| Abstract/Contents: | "A disease of Kentucky bluegrass occurred in the fall of 1975 and 1976, and symptoms expressed were very similar to those caused by Fusarium blight. The symptoms appeared as blighted turfgrass in rings with the healthy turfgrass within the rings. The only pathogen isolated from diseased tissue was Rhizoctonia solani. During the 1976 summer months, the more typical disease of Kentucky bluegrass caused by R. solani was observed. These two diseases are compared on the basis of symptoms." |
