| Abstract/Contents: | Profiles a green renovation project at the Ashburton Bowling Club in New Zealand. States that "seed was saved from the June/July harvest in 2002 and stored in the club beer cooler. Trial plots were created in both greens the following March 2003. Both plots stood up to the winter well. Heavy frost and 9 inches of snow followed by ice did not deter the new plant. The decision was made to store...seed the following summer for sowing in February 2004." Reports that the club re-opened on November 15, 2004. |
