| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses crabgrass control, suggesting that "[April] is the time to apply. The temperatures are soaring, the forsythia bush is blooming and most likely the soil temperatures will be right around 50°F [Fahrenheit] at a two-inch depth." Also discusses mole control, suggesting that "the most effective and proven method to eliminate moles is by trapping." Recommends that "if [one knows there is] a problem, begin...vigilance in the early spring...before mating perpetuates the problem"; "once [one is] on top of the current infestation, [one needs] to maintain vigilance around the perimeter of [the] property"; and "once [one knows] the general vicinity of there [the moles] are migrating from, encourage them to use the same tunnels along which [one will] maintain a trap." |
