Abstract/Contents:Suggests that "fall is the favored time of the year in which to start a new lawn or to reseed old lawns because temperature and soil conditions are generally favorable for the prompt germination of seeds." Advises against the use of "cheap, low-quality, weed infested seed mixtures", stating that "the weed seed percentage must...be given [on the seed package] and this is the buyer's protection."
