Abstract/Contents:Discusses dandelion control, suggesting to "spot spray or get down on [one's] hands and knees and pull them out." States that "applications made during the second flush of dandelions should give good results. Most commercially available three-way ready to use herbicides...will provide effective control of dandelion." Also discusses ground ivy and wild violet control, stating that "fall is the best time to control these weeds, but if [one] can't wait until then, trying to control them while they're flowering is [the] next best option." Mentions that "the first key to controlling any pest is correctly identifying it and in the case of weeds that can be a challenge with all of the potential culprits sprouting in the turf."
