| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "1. ascertain if the addition of urea will enhance iron fertilization influence on turf color" and "2. determine the effects of sources of iron on Kentucky bluegrass color." Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "Plush Kenutcky bluegrass established in September 1984...on a Lodi silt loam soil with a soil pH of 6.5 was used for this experiment." Reports that "iron did not enhance color with or without the addition of nitrogen. Nitrogen appeared to have more influence on color than iron. Color ratings increased with nitrogen rate." |
