| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to evaluate insecticides for "control of chinch bugs on buffalograss research plots at the University of Nebraska JSA [John Seaton Anderson] Research Facility near Mead Nebraska." States that "treatments were evaluated...by taking two 8-inch diameter vacuum samples (0.7 ft2 [square feet] total area per plot) with a modified Echo 2400 Shred 'N Vac." Reports that "all treatments provided statistically significant reductions in chinch bug numbers when compared to the untreated check. However, S10455 did not provide acceptable chinch bug control." |
