| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to evaluate insecticides "for control of sod webworms on Kentucky bluegrass research plots at the University of Nebraska JSA [John Seaton Anderson] Research Facility near Mead Nebraska." States that "treatments were evaluated...by mixing 0.5 Oz. [ounce] of lemon-scented dish soap per gallon of water and applying 4 gallons of water over each of two 6 ft2 [square feet] sampling areas/plot (12 ft2 total area). Larvae that moved to the surface within 30 minutes were counted." Reports that "all rates of DPX-MP062 provided statistically significant sod webworm control when compared to the untreated check." |
