| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted "1) to evaluate the ability of pendimethalin, bensulide, and oxadiazon to control annual weedy grass species in established 'Penncross' creeping bentgrass turf" and "2) to determine the effect of these herbicides on turf quality." Reports that "all treatments were seen to be safe with no phytotoxicity...Crabgrass counts indicate that all treatments increased the control of crabgrass with the wettable powder formulation of pendimethalin and the bensulide treatments...producing the lowest number of crabgrass plants." |
