| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "determine the product effectiveness when applied in early-May and at peak adult emergence to control a predominant northern masked chafer (NMC) white grub population." Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "the turfgrass area consisted of Kentucky bluegrass (10%) and fine fescue (90%)...The area selected for the experiment had been infested with a natural population of NMC grubs during the spring of 2007." Lists treatment evaluated in the study, including Aloft SC, Aloft GR, Arena 50WDG, and Merit 75WP. Reports that "all treatments provided highly significant suppression of NMC grubs. No phytotoxicity was noted." |
