| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "determine product effectiveness when applied in mid-April to control a predominant northern masked chafer (NMC) white grub population on a turfgrass area." Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "the turfgrass area consisted of Kentucky bluegrass (10%) and fine fescue (90%)...The area selected for the experiment had been infested with a natural population of NMC grubs during the spring of 2007." Lists treatments evaluated in the study, including Acelepryn 1.67SC, Acelepryn 25WDG, and Merit 75WP. Reports that "all treatments provided highly significant suppression of NMC grubs. No phytotoxicity was noted." |
