| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study conducted to "determine product effectiveness when applied in mid-June to control a predominant population of northern masked chafer (NMC) and Japanese beetle (JB) grubs on a turfgrass area." Details methods and materials used in the study, stating that "the turfgrass area consisted of Kentucky bluegrass (10%) and fine fescue (90%)...The area selected for the experiment had been infested with a natural population of JB and NMC grubs during the spring of 2007." Lists treatments evaluated in the study, including Acelepryn 1.67SC, Meridian 25WG, and Merit 75WP. Reports that "all treatments provided significant suppression of JB and NMC grubs. No phytotoxicity was noted." |
