Abstract/Contents: | Profiles several herbicides labeled for use on golf courses, comparing the active ingredients. Lists active ingredients evaluated in the study, including bispyribac-sodium, Mesotrione, Sulfosulfuron, Quinclorac + 2,4-D + diacamba, Carfentrazone combinations, Sulfentrazone combinations, Pyraflufen-ethyl, and Penoxsulam. Concludes that "several...herbicial active ingredients have been releasd for use on golf courses...These products either improve control of weeds such as dandelion, clover and crabgrass or allow selective control of grassy weeds in turf (for example, creeping bentgrass growing in Kentucky bluegrass/perennial ryegrass roughs), which had not been possible previously." |
