Abstract/Contents: | A loosely knitted, protective carpet laid 1 inch below the surface and covered by loam dressing and seeds has been installed on a cricket pitch in The Oval. This carpet, VHAF, is being tested for use to reinforce turfgrass pitches where traffic levels and turf damage is high. |
