Species of Tylenchorhynchus, Paratylenchus, Helicotylenchus and Tylenchus were nearly always present around bluegrass roots and occurred in greatest numbers. Pratylenchus, Hoplolaimus, Xiphinema and Boleodorus were encountered in approximately half the samples. Tylenchorhynchus nudus, of primary interest, was present in 46% of samples but was most common in the area east of the Missouri River."
