| Abstract/Contents: | Provides and describes five potential factors to consider when renovating golf course bunkers, including maintenance budget; placement and visibility; drainage and erosion control; sand; and disruption to play. Suggests that "it is critical that bunkers and, for that matter, all hazards be visible." Concludes that "the key is to start with an overall plan on how to complete the project and then use an experienced golf architect and an experienced golf course contractor to insure [ensure] that the project is completed properly and on time." |
