| Abstract/Contents: | "An evaluation trial with six fungicides was conducted to determine their effectiveness against Fusarium blight. The chemicals were applied as drenches to naturally infected 'Merion' Kentucky bluegrass turf. The results indicated that the systemic fungicides benomyl 50W (methyl 1-(butylcarbamoyl)-2-benzimidazolecarbamate) and thiophanate 50W (1,2-bis(3-ethoxycarbonyl-2-thioureido)benzene) were effective controls for this disease." |
