Abstract/Contents: | Non-woven fabrics are being used in many ways in the green industry for weed control, erosion control, sub-surface drainage, as a soil-gravel separator, and turf protection. Heavy fabrics are used for protection of the sports fields from heavy traffic during special events while lightweight fabrics protect golf greens from winter desiccation. |
