Abstract/Contents:"Applications of benomyl (methyl 1-(butylcarbamoyl)-2-benzimidazolecarbamate) predispose turf to a patch disease caused by a Basidiomycete. This fungus is tolerant to benomyl and, in culture, its growth is stimulated by 0.5 and 1.0 ppm benomyl. The possibility that the widespread use of benomyl may increase the incidence of certain other plant diseases is discussed."
