Abstract/Contents: | Discusses regulations for implementation of the Cosmetic Pesticides Ban Act. States that "the draft legislation just finished the public comment period in December 2008, and is expected to become law...the change means that golf courses that prove they can handle pesticides safely are exempt from the ban." Notes that this means different record keeping requirements. States that "the good news is that there is no requirement to buy new software, or even to submit the information via the computer. [One doesn't] have to buy anything, or use any methods that [one] finds uncomfortable." Explains that "the forms will be predesigned, all [one will] have to do is type in the information." Suggests that "the hard part is not the form, or its software, but collecting the data and keeping it available." Explains how to use an excel document to collect and record the data. Suggests ways to organize the data within excel. |
