Abstract
(Thanks to DTRF) | "Plantengroeiregulatoren (PGR's) zijn voor meerdere doeleinden inzetbaar. Ze kunnen onder andere gebruikt worden om hogere greensnelheden en maaihoogtes te realiseren, om het aandeel Poa annua in struisgras grasmatten te verminderen, het controleren van zaadkoppen in Poa annua en om minder frequent te maaien. Het wordt ook toegepast voor efficiënter gebruik van water, bemesting en fungiciden, tijdens het doorzaaien, het realiseren van een betere kleur en dichtheid en het stimuleren van de wortelgroei. Daarnaast geven PGR's geen verhoogde viltopbouw. Ook worden PGR's ingezet om de schaduwtolerantie te verhogen, de machineslijtage en vorstschade te verminderen en om minder onkruid te hoeven bestrijden. Dit is een hele lijst zo alles bij elkaar. In dit artikel wordt dieper ingegaan op de PGR trinexapac-ethyl (TE, in Nederland verkrijgbaar als Primo MAXXTM) en of deze PGR de grasplant steviger kan maken" |
