Abstract
(Thanks to DTRF) | "Vanuit Groot-Brittannië wordt voor ons klimaat over het algemeen gewoon struisgras (browntop/colonial bent, Agrostis capillaris/tenuis) in een mix met roodzwenkgras gepromoot voor gebruik op greens. In de Verenigde Staten worden echter al lange tijd goede resultaten behaald door gebruik van wit struisgras (creeping bent, Agrostis stolonifera). In Nederland is wit struisgras in het verleden ook al toegepast op verschillende golfbanen, met wisselend succes. Meer recentelijk is op enkele nieuwe golfbanen weer gebruik gemaakt van wit struisgras evenals bij doorzaai op bestaande greens. Veelal hangt het succes hierbij af van de aanwezige kennis en de beschikbare middelen/budgetten" |
