| Abstract/Contents: | "From 349 ecotypes of red fescue collected in Botanical Garden of Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute 18 ecotypes of potential turf value were selected. Ecotypes were evaluated according to turf experimentation practice. It was stated that the important element of above analysis is to take into seasonal turf expression of ecotypes. Ecotypes of high spring, summer and winter values appeared. Efficiency of selection assisted with synthetic methods of trait improvement was 1,4% for ecotypes gathered in collection." |
