Note: | Corection note "On page 139 in the August Newsletter, LINDANE 1 lb a.i. per green in spring was recommended for control of mealy bug in Cotula greens. Immediately below this were the words "This is dangerous material to handle, so apply with care". These words applied to another material which it was intended to recommend, but which we decided to omit from recommendations. Lindane, if handled with normal care, is no more dangerous to handle than any other chlorinated hydrocarbon such as DDT or ALDRIN." |
