Abstract/Contents:Environmental conditions can influence the potential efficacy of pesticide applications. It is important to know the chemical being used and read the pesticide label for references to potential environmental interactions such as: photodecomposition, volatilization, leaching and dilution, microbial breakdown, and chemical complexes. Fate of pesticides after application is briefly discussed.
