| Abstract/Contents: | Presents results from a survey of lawn service operators regarding their use of phenoxy herbicides such as 2,4-D. Studies by such organizations as the National Cancer Institute have led many to refrain from use of phenoxy herbicides, yet 82% of the responses to the survey stated they were continuing their use of phenoxy herbicides in 1987. Operators are cautioned to alert their customers as to the use of phenoxy herbicides, and to take precautions for safety in their use. |
