Abstract/Contents:Discusses bowling greens at the Auckland Centre and the Taranaki Centre in New Zealand during 1977, stating that at Auckland "there are predominantly fine turf greens with only an odd Cotula green in some clubs" and at Taranaki "it was noticeable on some greens that there was much room for improvement in spraying technique." Predicts a potential shift toward Cotula greens among New Zealand clubs, but suggests that "a mower which is set to cut fine turf efficiently may be quite ineffective on Cotula...Full efficiency [could necessitate] the provision of two mowers."
