Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the environmental effect of temperature on Cotula diocia subsp. dioica. Presents a study conducted to determine the impact of temperature on turf growth. Details methods and materials used during the experiment. Reports that "maximum root production was obtained at 20/15°C [Celsius]. There was a tendency for root dry matter to decrease as temperature increased to 25/20°C." Concludes that "Cotula top growth showed very little variation among the three temperature regimes although there was a tendency for yield to increase with a rise in temperature." Presents a table illustrating full results. |
