Abstract/Contents: | Presents a letter from the Director of the New Zealand Sports Turf Institute suggesting that "there are still [in 1981] too many administrators submitting to the demands of players and competitive commitments to the detriment of our playing surfaces. Conversely too few are making the effort to understand the limitations of our sports fields under adverse playing conditions." Recommends potential means of fostering good relationships between users and managers of golf courses. |
