Abstract/Contents:Profiles a drainage installation project conducted during the early 1980s at St. Clair Golf Club in Dunedin, New Zealand. Details the materials and methods used during construction, stating that "all drains were dug by hand for neatness and tidiness and to a depth of 450-600mm [millimeters]...to give clearance for subsequent mini-mole ploughing and physical treatment." Provides two photographs showing the work during early and late stages of construction. Reports that "all materials were brought to and from greens through side bunkers to minimise [minimize] damage to aprons and approach areas."
