Abstract/Contents:Presents an experiment conducted to study the effects of Waitea circinata variant circinata on Poa annua. Describes evidence of brown ring patch observed on an annual bluegrass green in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania in 2008. Details the inoculation process and states that "in both experiments, leaf blade chlorosis and a modest amount of aerial mycelium were observed in all four isolate-introduced pots at five to seven days after inoculation...and by 21 to 28 days, all isolate-infected plants died, whereas the noninoculated plants remained healthy and nonsymptomatic."
