| Abstract/Contents: | "Field studies were conducted on five forage species in plots on north- and south-facing 30 to 35% slopes to determine effect of slope orientation on incidence of plant pathogens. Crown and root rot caused by Sclerotinia trifoliorum on crownvetch caused severe damage on northern exposures, but was never found on the south-facing exposure. Plant damage from other pathogens was usually greater on the southern than on the northern exposure." |
