Abstract/Contents: | Provides tips that may help in reducing organic matter (OM) on golf courses, suggesting that "where OM is a problem, [the] most important and effective OM management tool is renovation, but such treatments can be costly and disruptive to the business of a golf club." Recommends that "finding the time to carry out renovations to reduce OM must be discussed with those involved in planning competitions so that renovation programmes [programs] can be dovetailed appropriately into the fixture list." |
