Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the public opinion of Kentucky bluegrass in New York during the early 1990s. Suggests that "the misconception that Kentucky bluegrass is a fertilizer-loving grass probably originated with the release of Merion Kentucky bluegrass in 1947." Describes a study conducted at Cornell University during the fall of 1991 that placed more than 100 bluegrass cultivars under "extreme low maintenance" conditions. |
