The practice is more an art than a science, however, and controversy continues as to what constitutes a proper program. Grasses in this study were seeded in 1974 and topdressing practices initiated in 1976. Data are obtained yearly as added topdressing (sand and compost) continues to accumulate above the original soil surface." |
